Australian NBA star Ben Simmons has slashed six million dollars from the price of a California retreat he’s been trying to offload for two years.
Located in a gated community in Hidden Hills, 45km from Los Angles, the sprawling seven-bedroom ultra-modern ‘farm house’ first hit the market in 2022 for an eye-popping $32.5million (approximately US$23million).
The 27-year-old Brooklyn Nets champ, who famously dated model Kendall Jenner, is now hoping for a sale after listing it for $26,820,884 (approximately US$17,495,000).
Situated on 1.5 acres in a secluded gated-community the mansion is set to go under the hammer next month with bids expected to start between $7million and $12million, reports Domain.
Simmons purchased the property in 2021 for $23.3million (US$17.5million).

Hidden Hills, one of Los Angeles’ most exclusive suburbs, is home to retired basketballer Dwyane Wade and his wife Gabrielle Union, rappers Drake and Lil Wayne, and of course, the Kardashian family.

It comes afte Simmons’ NBA career has been significantly hampered by injuries since he was drafted first overall in 2016, missing his entire rookie season due to a foot injury.
His health issues persisted with back and knee injuries leading to significant absences, including being sidelined for the entire 2021-22 season and parts of other seasons.
Despite brief returns to form, recurring back problems have continued to plague Simmons, limiting his playtime and leading to him being shut down for the season multiple times, most recently in the 2023-24 season after playing just 15 games.
