A waterside mansion on Queensland’s Gold Coast, owned by prominent Australian racing car driver Shane Tucker, has gone under the hammer for $5.56 million.

Among the highlights is a sunken bar, which features a ‘window’ beneath the property’s huge pool.

Tucker and his wife Rebecca Maloney completed construction of the home in 2021 after buying the vacant block for $1.08 million in 2017.

The publication reported that the pair, who own a construction business in Texas,  had the idea to establish their liquor business in 2014.

Hitting the market in 2019, Volando, which means ‘flying’ in Spanish, is distilled in Mexico by a third-generation of tequila makers.
