‘Something that I’ve never said publicly is my only child is disabled, and he lives in a hospital,’ Mahone said.

‘Most likely he will for the balance of his life. And I need to work, because his care is very expensive.’

She said she was worried if she named the producer she would stop receiving offers of work.

‘I will not name this person because I would like my phone to ring.’

The confession was hard for her to make as she is a private person, Mahone said.

‘Basically, he tried to put his hand up my shirt, and I slapped him. I’ve never hit anybody and I knew I was in a lot of trouble.’

She said she had to physically fight to escape from the attacker’s house.

While recounting her horrific experience Mahone broke down in tears.
