A gorgeous mix of modern chic and classical style, the home with its white exterior and epic arches is designed to recall a Mediterranean ‘palazzo’.

Retaining much of its period opulence the mansion, dubbed ‘Karum’, features open fireplaces, coffered ceilings and timber floors.

The expansive open plan layout on the ground floor includes an informal dining area which opens out to a ‘entertainment’ terrace.

The adjoining oversized kitchen, meanwhile, has marble bench tops, and a breakfast bench.

Other highlights include a master bedroom with a marble en suite, walk-in wardrobe and dressing room.

There’s also multiple living spaces, a formal dining room, a study and classic ‘sitting room’.

According to the report Prior is selling up due to business commitments overseas, and there are high expectations for a promising sale.

Toorak, only 7kms from the CBD, is one of Melbourne’s most famous and richest postcodes.

Last year Crypto entrepreneur E Craven bought a nearby mansion for $80million.

Another grand home on St Georges Road, the neighbourhood’s ‘millionaire’s row’  went under the hammer for $74.5million in 2022.

It comes after Prior purchased the Bladnoch distillery, which was bankrupt and had not produced a whisky in several years, in 2015 after selling his organic yoghurt business, Five:am, for $80million.
