Axed Love Island USA star Yulissa Escobar has fired back at online trolls and cancel culture after she was booted from the villa over using racist slurs.

Escobar was swiftly removed from the show line-up after clips of her dropping the N-word on a 2021 podcast resurfaced last week, revealed she has been getting death threats.

The Miami-based real-estate professional apologized for the comments in a lengthy essay on June 5, and on Friday, show posted another one advocating being held ‘Accountable, not Erased.’

‘People swear cancel culture is about accountability… But now it’s just viral hate,’ she wrote.

Escobar said she had receiving chilling messages ‘saying I should kill myself.’

‘That video doesn’t define me,’ she asserted adding, ‘.This isn’t “woke.” It’s abuse.’

‘My name is Yulissa Escobar. And this is NOT where my story ends,’ she wrote.

‘One mistake does not define a human. And that moment? Was four years ago. I’ve clearly grown and I’m just getting started.’

She then invited fans to contact her in her DMs, ‘If you’re hurting… if you’re scared… if you feel like no one gets it come talk to me.’

Some fans showed her support after the post.

‘I felt every word of this. I can definitely relate! The way online hate can consume and distort reality is terrifying. Thank you for speaking out with so much honesty and courage,’ wrote one follower.

‘Love you yuli ❤️,’ wrote another, adding, ‘no one deserves this kind of hate, those who know you love you PERIOD.’

Others weren’t buying what she was selling.

‘But why were you saying the n word in 2021,’ asked one commenter, seemingly trying to hold her accountable, adding, ‘you’re grown enough.’

‘Ah the playbook move to become the victim after owning it people truly cannot resist this move hilarious and so predicable,’ said a detractor.

In a separate post on Friday, Escobar shared a series of unapologetically sexy snaps of her wearing a tiny blue bikini at a car wash.

‘And in case you forgot the name…it’s written on the suitcase. I still had a timeee!’ she wrote using the hashtags #loveislandusa and #shecamebackbetter.
