A baby killer has been sacked after using a fake name to get a job at a family restaurant – only to be spotted by friends of his victim’s mother.
Jason Redgrave, 30, shook six-month-old Ethan Hopson to death while babysitting him in 2011.
He was jailed for eight years in 2012 after being convicted of manslaughter – but was released in December 2015.
Redgrave subsequently got a job at Damon’s restaurant in Lincoln using the fake name of Dylan Cooper, The Sun reports.
He was found out when he served drinks to friends of Ethan’s mother, Karly.
Customers then posted his true identity online in a bid to expose him.
One wrote on TripAdvisor: ‘Dylan Cooper or whoever he calls himself is a child killer and is behind the bar making cocktails.
‘This is my last visit to Damon’s whilst that monster works there.’
The firm sacked Redgrave on Saturday with ‘immediate effect’.
During Redgrave’s trial, the prosecution claimed he had ‘beaten and shaken’ Ethan because he was annoyed that his crying had interrupted a text conversation.
Ms Hopson returned home on 17 December to find a paramedic attempting to resuscitate Ethan.
He died five days later.
