When it comes to the ladies, former Bachelor Arie Luyedyk Jr seems to stick to one type.
On Monday the racecar driver’s fiance Lauren Burnham shared a photo of the pair looking loved up at the opening race of the IndyCar season in Saint Petersburg, Florida.
Almost immediately, eagle-eyed observer Reality Steve noticed the photo’s uncanny resemblance to a snapshot Arie took with ex-girlfriend Sydney Stempfley just last June 2017.

The pics were more than similar enough to warrant a double-take.
Both photos show the salt-and-pepper suitor on the right side of a smiling blonde and posed in front of a racecar, with both ladies clad in the same red Honda racing garb.
Sydney captioned her photo, which was taken just months before Arie was announced as The Bachelor in September at Detroit’s Belle Isle race track, writing: ‘My actual ride or die.’
In her photoset Lauren B called the race: ‘One of the top 5 coolest things I’ve ever done’ adding: ‘Thanks for the rides’ to fiance Arie and famous racer Mario Andretti.

She also shared photos of the duo walking hand-in-hand while gazing at each-other adoringly and a solo shot of Lauren sitting on a vehicle with a giant grin.
According to People, things between Stempfley and Luyedyk fizzled out in Summer of 2017, sometime after their pic was taken.
When fans and series alums first suggested Arie as the next Bachelor before his official selection last September, Sydney — who is a Cincinnati native that graduated from Miami University in 2016 — took to Twitter to offer her two-cents.
‘The show would be perfect for @ariejr up until it comes to choosing just one,’ she wrote along with the tears-of-laughter emoji.

Stempfley’s prediction was spot on.
Arie earned the ire of Bachelor Nation after first proposing to finalist Becca Kufrin in what was supposed to be the show’s final episode, only to break up with the 27-year-old Minnesotan on camera during the series’ After The Rose special, so he could pursue his relationship with runner-up Burnham.
Though heartbroken at first, Becca Kufrin has decided she’s ready to take another shot at love as she’s set to star in next season of The Bachelorette, premiering May 28 2018 on ABC.
