The Bachelor’s Jimmy Nicholson has revealed some exciting career news.

The reality star, 33, took to Instagram on Wednesday to share with his 95,000 followers that he had acquired an Air Transport Pilot License.

In the series of images, Jimmy shared scenes from the Ansett Aviation Training centre, as he trained on flight simulators.

He also shared a picture of himself giving a thumbs up, while in the caption he thanked his new wife Holly Kingston, 29.

‘The weeks of intense study and uselessness around the house have paid off. Thank you to my beautiful wife Holly Kingston for putting up with me lately.’

According to the Civil Aviation Safety Authority, an Air Transport Pilot License allows someone to ‘pilot or co-pilot any private or commercial operation.’

It comes as earlier this year the former Bachelor shared a terrifying video of in-flight turbulence to his Tiktok while en route to his honeymoon with Holly.

In the scary footage, the hunky captain showed he and Holly sitting in the back of their plane as it bounced around.

‘Some of the worst turbulence I’ve ever felt. It’s a short flight. It’s not comfortable,’ he began his video.

Despite Holly appearing frightened by the bad turbulence, Jimmy managed to remain calm as he gave his followers tips on how to sooth their anxiety.

He told viewers if they ever found themselves on a rough flight, they should remind themselves ‘it’s completely normal’ and ‘the plane isn’t going to fall out of the sky’.

Jimmy also advised them to turn on the air and look out the window to help remind themselves they are safe, and said if their drinking water isn’t moving much then they have nothing to worry about.

‘So we are at the back of the plane. So it’s worse here. It’s not comfortable,’ he added as he showed Holly holding his hand tightly.

‘Probably some of the worst I’ve been in. It could be widespread storms. So they just have to pick their path of least resistance and go through it.

‘Also, nothing to worry about. Planes are built to withstand way worse. Not fun evidently, but completely fine. Some of the worst turbulence I’ve ever felt.’

The shocking video ended with the plane settling as it passed through the rough skies, prompting all the passengers to applaud the pilots.
