Bachelor star Sam Wood and wife Snezana look to buy $14million six-bedroom mansion in Melbourne’s exclusive suburb of Brighton

Former Bachelor star Sam Wood is reported to be eyeing off a glorious mansion in one of Melbourne’s most sought after postcodes.

Real estate insiders say the hunky reality star and his wife Snezana have already laid out an eye-watering $14million for the sprawling pad.

Located in seaside Brighton, 14kms from the CBD, the beautiful vintage multi-level estate boasts six-bedrooms, a pool and expansive gardens.

However, the Herald Sun reported on Friday that the genetically blessed pair have yet to seal the deal on the trophy home.

According to insiders the pair have not finalised a deposit.

Meanwhile, the publication reports that Sam and Snezana have been seeking to buy in the exclusive neighbourhood for at least two years.

And the pair have been linked to the purchase of another property on Brighton’s ‘Golden Mile’.

Listed with an eye-watering price guide of $16,500,000 million to $18,000,000 million the enormous luxury home is an exquisitely preserved art deco estate.

According to the report the listing ‘disappeared’ from RE sites this week – but as of Saturday it was still being advertised for sale on Realestate.com.

It last went under the hammer in 1980 for $315,000 and was leased to tenants in 2023 for a whopping $2400 a week.

Wood rose to fame on The Bachelor in 2015 when he found love with then single mother-of-one Snezana Markoski.

Now a business mogul the strapping 43-year-old has built an multimillion dollar empire.

In 2022 he sold his fitness program – 28 by Sam Wood – to genetics group myDNA for $71million.  

The entrepreneur continues to invest in the company and holds a five per cent stake.

He has also amassed a $10 million real estate portfolio.

His property portfolio includes his $4 million home in Elsternwick which he shares with wife Snezana and four children, and a $3.6 million holiday home in Mt Martha.

Wood made his entry into the property market back in 2014, when he purchased a two bedroom 1728 square metre unit in Carnegie’s Koornang Road for $477,500. 

In 2017, Wood snapped up a three-bedroom investment property in Broadford for $295,000 and since then has watched it jump in value to nearly $500,000.

In 2018, around the same time Wood acquired the Elsternwick property, he also sunk $531,000 into another investment property in Upwey.

The fitness mogul is married to Snezana Wood (née Markoski), whom he met on the third season of The Bachelor in 2015.
