Bachelorette Form Guide: Who will win Sophie Monk’s heart?

The Bachelorette Sophie Monk confirmed she found love with her ‘perfect man’ on the matchmaking reality show.

And with speculation rising as to who will secure Sophie’s final rose, Daily Mail Australia reveal the front-runners, odds-favourites and rumoured winner.

With the premiere episode airing on Wednesday, Sportsbet odds place Sydney hunk Luke McLeod in top spot at $2.50… but an expected intruder could shake up the competition.

Described as ‘outdoorsy and spiritual’, business culture consultant Luke claims he’s ready to share his life with someone special.

It was revealed that Luke may have had an advantage leading into the show, as he was friends with a previous series winner.

The Daily Telegraph reported the 33-year-old was pals with Laura Byrne, with the jewellery designer having commented on several of his Facebook posts.

Meanwhile, Melbourne vineyard manager Jarrod Woodgate, 31, and Financial adviser James, 31, are close behind on $5.50 and $7 respectively.

Close behind! Meanwhile, Melbourne vineyard manager Jarrod Woodgate(L), 31, and Financial adviser James(R), 31, are close behind on $5.50 and $7 respectively

Like Sophie, Jarrod has been engaged before, with the 31-year-old detailing the heartbreaking failed engagement back in 2010 to New Idea.

Financial adviser James, 31, meanwhile, also comes from NSW and can see himself on a ski trip with Sophie ‘with a few little Monks in tow’ in his future.

Apollo Jackson is a magician and aspiring actor from Queensland’s Gold Coast and despite being 13 years Sophie’s junior, he claims: ‘I am young but I have an old soul.’

Unfortunately, the least favoured of the bachelors is South Australian restaurant manager Harry at $51. He describes himself as ‘happy, playful, easy-going, energetic and chatty’.

Not looking good: Also with dismal odds is self-confessed ‘serial dater’ Hayden (L) on $46 and 25-year-old bar manager Jourdan (R) on $41

Also with dismal odds is self-confessed ‘serial dater’ Hayden on $46 and 25-year-old bar manager Jourdan on $41.

Sitting comfortably between $10 and $15 odds are Western Australian ‘investor and entrepreneur’ Blake, 29, ex-rugby player turned construction foreman Ryan, 26, events manager Jefferson, 30, and scaffolder Eden, 33.

However, not yet on the betting ladder is Millionaire ‘publican playboy’ Stu Laundy, 44, who is set to shake up the competition as an intruder.

Despite not being in the official cast photo published by Channel Ten, Stu is widely believed to be a contestant on the show after he was photographed on a filmed group date in July.

Adding fuel to the fire, Stu is 44 and Sophie, 37, had previously said that she was after a ‘silver fox’.

Of the 18 hopefuls featured in the official photo, eight are in their 20s with the youngest being Apollo and Harry who are both 24.

Stu has also been previously linked to Sophie.

Stu, who is the son of legendary pub owner Arthur Laundy and heir to an estimated $500 million fortune previously told Confidential that he met Sophie in 2016 and asked her on a date on his yachts, with the intended rendezvous falling through.

A source claimed that Stu was so taken with the former Bardot star at their first meeting that he jumped at the chance to try his luck a second time.

‘While this is unorthodox, this seemed like the best way to meet her again,’ the source claimed.

With a potential advantage over the other contestants, Stu will also compete against voice artist Sam, 31, from New South Wales, fashion designer Pete, 32, small business owner Mackane, 35, Victorian contract service manager Chad, 37, engineer Jamie, 38, professional polo player Bingham Fitz-Henry, 25, and personal trainer Brett, 27.

As the premiere nears some of the contestants pasts have begin to surface, including footage of magician Apollo being spanked with paddles by ‘naughty nurses’ at the famous Heart Attack Grill in Las Vegas.

If Hayden Felsenthal’s social media posts are anything to go by, it looks like the suitor could be the joker of the bunch.

One image, which was shared to his Instagram account last year, shows the 29-year-old holding up a bag of white powder as he posed with friends in drug dealer costumes.

Also recent comments made by Perth investor Blake, 29, have raised questions about his intentions after he revealed he is highly attracted to famous women.

‘I’ve dated people with higher profiles than Sophie’s exes,’ he proudly revealed to Woman’s Day on Monday.
