Bachelorette star Angie Kent sent home from Dancing with the Stars: All Stars

She was the second celebrity to be eliminated during her Dancing with the Stars debut in 2020.

And Angie Kent, 34, suffered the same fate on Sunday night, when she became the second star to be sent home from Channel Seven’s  Dancing with the Stars: All Stars.

The reality TV star and her partner Julian Caillon – who had not yet performed this season – were booted from the contest ahead of fellow celebrity contestants Sam Mac and Rob Mills.

Despite having ‘so much more fun’ her second time around, the Gogglebox Australia star was clearly gutted to be going home so soon.

‘I wish she could have shown how much she actually has improved,’ said Julian, who also partnered Angie in 2020.

‘I’m so proud of you, you’ve come such a long way.’

The shock elimination comes after Angie gave fans a health update following her surgery as she battles endometriosis and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).

The former Bachelorette star shared a photo of herself to Instagram earlier this month, showing her in her hospital room.

In the lengthy caption, she revealed she had been diagnosed with interstitial cystitis, a condition causing bladder pressure and pelvic pain.

‘This was yesterday’s Valentine’s Day steeze,’ she wrote alongside the image of her in hospital clothing.

‘If you thought you were not feeling yourself. Just refer back to this – me in compression socks, this stripy surgery backless gown (hot), those fashionable surgical blue slippers and a diaper of sorts. You’re welcome.’

She went on: ‘I ended up having a complicated laparoscopy, including use of las hysteroscopy, with endometrial biopsy, performed in a cystoscopy and urethroscopy with an ultrasound, in conjunction with a pudendal nerve block along with a dose of Botox in my pelvis for my nerve damage, his words. I’m still learning.

Angie explained: 'I have a new diagnosis, interstitial cystitis which I'll be finding out more about and the treatment in my follow up appointment with my specialist'

‘This surgery was by far the largest out of the three I’ve had, but probably the most safest I’ve felt… the nurses and my surgeon were so magical. I’ve never felt more heard and supported – thank you to the team at St Andrew’s Hospital Brisbane.’

Angie continued: ‘I have a new diagnosis, interstitial cystitis which I’ll be finding out more about and the treatment in my follow up appointment with my specialist.

‘My ovaries were very much enlarged with polycystic ovaries and he’s drilled them. Scarring was found on the left side of my pelvis – it’s difficult to know if it’s scar tissue or endometriosis at this stage. All removed too.

Long way: Angie added that she also had two fibroids removed. She concluded that the process was 'a marathon not a sprint' and is also working with a naturopath

‘Which is great news because last laparoscopy a year and a half ago my bowel was mostly riddled with scar tissue and endometriosis. I had all new systems from later finding out I was undiagnosed with PCOS and the fibroid was left in my body.

‘Weight gain, skin issues terrible mood swings and chronic fatigue just to list a few of the newfound symptoms on top of the debilitating pain.’

Angie added that she also had two fibroids removed.
