Bachelorette’s Charlie Newling parties with pals at gay bar in Sydney

He was nicknamed ‘Mr Perfect’ after telling Ali Oetjen about his plans to settle down and start a family as soon as possible.

But The Bachelorette’s Charlie Newling’s appears to have a wild side, with pictures  emerging of him partying with male friends at a Sydney gay bar in April.

In the photos, which were taken before he began filming the Network Ten dating series, the 31-year-old poses shirtless with a tiny spoon pendant around his neck.

One of the photos taken at ARQ in Sydney’s Darlinghurst, shows the builder smiling while wearing just a baseball cap and light pink shorts.

An ornate spoon pendant could be seen hanging around his neck.

He posed with an attractive blonde woman and several other male partygoers, some of whom were also shirtless.

Another picture showed the tattooed tradesman beaming for the camera while his female companion planted a friendly kiss on his cheek.

Daily Mail Australia has contacted Charlie for comment.

It comes after the reality TV star confirmed on Monday that he has an eight-year-old son from a previous relationship.

Meanwhile, he has been making headlines lately for his relationship with former Bachelor star Dasha Gaivoronski, 32.

The pair have been spotted together on three separate occasions, despite the fact Charlie is still being featured as a contestant on The Bachelorette.

A source told Daily Mail Australia on Thursday that Charlie’s behaviour has likely angered Network Ten and producers Warner Bros. Australia.

‘He’s a major part of the show and is being edited as the winner, or at least final three. It’s frankly unbelievable he’s doing this,’ said the insider.

‘He’s trying to sabotage the whole show. Who knows if his relationship with Dasha is the real deal – but one thing’s for sure, we know he doesn’t win.

‘The ratings are bad enough as it is without the frontrunners giving away the ending.’

The Bachelorette continues Wednesday at 7:30pm on Network Ten
