‘First single date. Insane. I’m…I’m so excited. Uh, I didn’t expect it whatsoever. I feel like a little kid again, meeting that first girl for the first time,’ he said.
But the smile was quickly wiped off his face when he discovered he’d be tasked with scaling a death-defying high ropes course over Spotless stadium, Sydney.
‘This date is going to be terrifying for me – I’m scared of heights,’ Sophie confessed after arriving at the Western Sydney venue.
But seconds after her confession, her first date choice admitted to being similarly terrified of heights.

‘Let’s just calm her down and just focus on each other.’

Sophie turned to the contestant and thanked him for protecting her, handing him a rose, before he pulled her in for a long, passionate kiss.
