Back To The Future star Lea Thompson, 63, proves she doesn’t age as she makes a rare sighting in LA

Lea Thompson displayed her radiant complexion during a rare sighting of the Back To The Future star.

The actress, 63, looked fab as she browsed a farmers’ market in Los Angeles on Sunday.

Her strawberry blonde hair cascaded down just below her shoulders while a pair of sunglasses added another fashionable and protective touch.

She rocked a Prada bag along with a contrasting, colorful woven tote, presumably for her purchases.

Lea scoured the open air market and purchased various items, and at one point eyed a hearty sweet potato.

She stood in line with the raw vegetable in hand and some cash in the other.

She wore grey sweatpants, white trainers, and a sweatshirt supporting Kamala Harris.

Thompson publicly supported Harris for president during the 2024 election and was emotional during an exclusive interview with DailyMail.com conducted hours after the vice president lost to Donald Trump.

Thompson said she was ‘scared’ for her daughters and admitted she did not know how to ‘move forward’ in the wake of Trump’s victory.

The actress struggled to fight back tears when asked about her recent criticism of her ex-fiance Dennis Quaid, 70, who endorsed Trump, 78, at a California rally in October.

‘You recently spoke up about your ex, Dennis Quaid and his ties with Donald Trump,’ she was asked. ‘You’ve been a champion for women forever, yesterday, didn’t work out. How do we move forward from today?’

Thompson fell silent and started to cry before offering the dejected response: ‘I don’t know.’

Struggling to contain her emotions she continued: ‘I don’t know. I’m sorry.’

Asked if there was any reason to be ‘hopeful’ she replied: ‘I don’t feel so hopeful. I feel… scared. I have daughters.

‘I don’t know if it will affect you or me, but I am a mom and know people that have been very affected by having babies that have died.

‘It just, I feel really bad for them. But America’s spoken.’

She continued: ‘We fight the fights. We fight to fight and the battles that we want to carry. It’s just not a lot of fun right now.’

Finishing with a nod to Back to the Future, she joked that America needs a DeLorean – the time travelling machine used by Christopher Lloyd and Michael J. Fox’s Dr Emmett Brown and Marty McFly.

‘We need that,’ she said. ‘We need to get on that.’
