Backpacker snapped defecating on a Gold Coast woman’s lawn – she says it’s been a problem for YEARS

A furious woman has resorted to drastic measures to prevent tourists disrespecting her lawn, as she catches a bare-bummed backpacker defecating on her lawn.

Disgruntled Michele Jones lives in one of Australia’s party and tourism capitals, and can’t help but notice the disrespect her neighbourhood receives from international visitors.

The Surfers Paradise local has taken to photographing public poopers, telling the Gold Coast Bulletin she is simply sick of it, after enduring the issue for years.

Ms Jones lives in an apartment complex in a street riddled with backpacking hostels.

After an incident on Thursday left Jones at wits end, subjected to a bare bottom whilst sipping on her morning coffee, she took out her phone, and haphazard looking backpacker what appears to be moments before the act.

‘She knows she was photographed, she started screaming some foreign language at me,’ Jones said.

But at this point, she simply doesn’t care if they don’t like being caught on camera.

‘For years this has been a problem, I like to keep our property nice and neat, we don’t want backpackers’ rubbish, and other things — I don’t think it’s right.’

Whilst Ms Jones has never contacted police regarding the incidents, she frequently begs the Gold Coast City Council to assist in her determination to keep her front lawn poop-free.

‘I periodically contact them, something needs to be done about the people doing this here, it is pretty disgusting,’ she said.

The incident comes only weeks after Australia was discovered the identity of the mysterious Brisbane ‘Poo-Jogger’.

Andrew Douglas Macintosh, 64, was the national quality manager with retirement village giant Aveo who secured his notoriety in Australian history after being caught in the act and charged with public nuisance.

Residents in the Brisbane suburb of Greenslopes had complained for almost a year of a mysterious morning runner squatting and relieving himself on a public pathway.

While Ms Jones doesn’t know the culprit’s identity, like the residents of Greenslope who banded together to catch the culprit, she is determined to end the slew of people pooping on her property.
