Bali hotel employee asks guest for sexual favour

A Bali hotel employee has been recorded on video asking a young married woman to perform oral sex in return for good customer service.

Aneta Baker was on holiday with friends when she made an inquiry about a refund for being charged a night she wasn’t there.

Left alone at the counter with a male hotel representative as her two friends went outside for a cigarette, the 28-year-old Melbourne woman asked to see what her options were in having the money returned.

‘Listen out for what he says 0:09 seconds in, it’s quiet but I caught him,’ she wrote.

In the clip, the man can be heard inappropriately propositioning the woman in return for the refund.

‘I was shocked at this person who was in a position of authority in the hotel I stayed at, who waited till I was alone, then proposed he would give me the refund “but what would I give him” were his exact words,’ Mrs Baker wrote on Facebook.

‘His confidence was disturbing, for it makes me know that there have been countless others that have gone through this too.’

Mrs Baker told Daily Mail Australia that although she appears calm and collected in the clip, she was totally in disbelief but is thankful she quickly realised to get her phone and record.

‘I recorded it immediately after he said “how about a blow job,” I just straight away had the instinct to record.

‘My dad’s a lawyer so he installed in me to take pictures and get all adequate information during things more like car accidents but I guess its been ingrained in me enough that it was almost like second nature to respond this way when in this situation.

‘At the start of the video I say, “so you want me to give you what?” And it’s quite hard to hear but you can definitely catch it at 00:09 seconds in, he responds with “blow job”.’

The mother-of-four believes this wouldn’t be the first time the employee has tried his luck and hopes that action will be taken.

‘The big boss and general guest services manager was eventually called down and he was as shocked as I was that one of his workers would ever do this. This also being the first time he’d ever heard of it happening within his hotel.

‘The boss man was incredibly apologetic and has said that this person would not have a job the next day. I am also waiting to be filled in with how they process this incident and asked to be kept in the loop.’

‘It blows my mind and although it was a horrible experience, I’m actually somewhat glad it happened to me so I could shut it down. I hope this inspires anyone else who is propositioned to speak up as well,’ Mrs Baker told DMA.

‘Be aware that there are some people out there, even people within a respectable role that can use their authority wrong that we must be weary of.

‘In saying that, there are many honorable people out there, even in positions of authority who use it to do good, to help others and change the world too.

‘Be bold and be brave, you are worth the world and should never be put in this situation or have someone propose such a thing to you.’
