The USA basketball team will play two games in Melbourne featuring NBA royalty LeBron James and Steph Curry.
The matches against Australia will take place at the Etihad Stadium on August 22 and August 24, 2019.
The series, announced today after two years of negotiation, will be the first time Team USA has played in Australia since the 2000 Olympics.

It will feature the world’s most famous players alongside Australian stars Patty Mills, Ben Simmons, Dante Exum and Matthew Dellavedova.
More than 50,000 fans will watch each game at the stadium with hundreds of thousands tuning in across the world.
Basketball Australia chief executive Anthony Moore described the tour as the biggest sporting event in Australia.
‘This announcement is a landmark moment for Basketball Australia and all fans of our great game,’ he said. ‘I believe this event will be long remembered in Australian sporting history.

Australian NBL boss Larry Kestelman told The Sunday Herald Sun: ‘This is bigger than any NBA game, this is the combination of every best player in the USA coming here to play Australia.
‘I think we’ve stepped a couple of steps and gone straight to the bonanza of basketball. This is the holy grail.’
