The Obamas are laying on the love this Valentine’s Day – while offering the world a peek into their personal music tastes.
The former first couple, who regularly share sweet, loved-up public messages to one another on birthdays and anniversaries, both took the time to share romantic thoughts on social media this February 14.
While Barack, 56, posted a cute image and heartwarming words, Michelle, 54, took the time to create a Spotify playlist of carefully-selected love songs for the occasion.

The list of songs includes classics like Ben E. King’s Stand By Me, Barry White’s Can’t Get Enough of Your Love, Babe, and Diana Ross’ Endless Love.
There are also more modern tunes, like Beyonce’s Halo, Janelle Monae’s Primetime, and Adele’s cover of Make You Feel My Love.

Loved up: Michelle and Barack, pictured in 2009, are so far the only president and first lady — present or former — to share public messages of love in honor of the holiday
‘Happy Valentine’s Day, @MichelleObama. You make every day and every place better,’ he wrote, adding a photo of the two of them cuddling.
He shared the same image and message on Instagram, while Michelle took to the other social media platform to post the playlist — called ‘Forever Mine, Michelle to Barack’ — as well.
While it’s still quite early in the day, Michelle and Barack are so far the only president and first lady — present or former — to share public messages of love in honor of the holiday.
George W. and Laura Bush and Bill and Hillary Clinton have yet to post anything — though none of them did last year, either.
Neither Donald or Melania Trump has posted anything in honor of Valentine’s Day yet, and in fact, it seems they won’t even be spending the day together.
Melania will be visiting the National Institute of Health’s Children’s Inn, a children’s hospital in Maryland, where she will make valentines with patients.
Mum: The Bushes, the Clintons, and the Trumps – pictured earlier this month – have not shared public messages, and the president and first lady are not due to spend the day together
Flashback: Obama shared another cute picture and loving message last year
Partners: Michelle did, too, calling Barack the love of her life
‘Mrs. Trump will spend an afternoon decorating cookies and making valentines and exchanging them with children currently patients at NIH and a few of their family members,’ read a statement from the Office of the First Lady.
The President, meanwhile, is spending today in press briefings, meeting with members of Congress, and signing the DHS Blue Campaign Authorization Act the Protecting Young Victims from Sexual Assault and Safe Sport Authorization Act.
Last year, the Obamas shared similarly sweet Valentine’s Day messages.
‘Happy Valentine’s Day, @michelleobama! Almost 28 years with you, but it always feels new,’ Obama wrote, captioning a photo of the couple huddling close.
‘Happy Valentine’s Day to the love of my life and favorite island mate, @BarackObama. #valentines,’ added Michelle alongside an image of their feet on the beach.
