Barcelona 1-1 Tottenham: Ousmane Dembele is unstoppable with space, while Kyle Walker-Peters had a Nou Camp nightmare – PLAYER RATINGS

A late goal by substitute Lucas Moura sent Tottenham through to the Champions League’s round of 16 after earning a 1-1 draw at Barcelona on Tuesday.

Moura scored from a pass by Harry Kane in the 85th minute at Camp Nou, canceling out a superb early solo goal by Ousmane Dembele.

Sportsmail’s PETE JENSON provides his player ratings from the encounter.

BARCELONA (4-3-3)

JASPER CILLESSEN – 8

Spread himself to save well from Son and Eriksen at crucial moments in the game.

NELSON SEMEDO – 6.5

Sloppy in possession at times and struggled when Rose overlapped down the Spurs left.

CLEMENT LENGLET – 6.5

Allowed Kane to get away from him at the start of the second half was lucky the finished was blazed over.

THOMAS VERMAELEN – 7.5

Never seems to loose his speed regardless of endless injury problems, reacted well to danger.

JUAN MIRANDA – 6

Unfazed considering his lack of experience. But 18-year-old could offer much forward threat

IVAN RAKITIC – 6.5

A solid half replacing Sergi Busquets. Protected the centre-backs and picked his forward runs well.

CARLES ALENA – 6

Tidy without penetrating. Has the Barcelona DNA and linked well with Arthur but no great attacking threat.

ARTHUR – 6

Kept the ball well enough without ever looking like prizing Tottenham open with a more decisive pass.

Arthur kept the ball well for Barcelona but never looked like penetrating Spurs' backline

OUSMANE DEMBELE – 8

Speed, control and poise for the goal. Unstoppable with space to run into.

MUNIR – 5

A major downgrade on Suarez. Swallowed up in the centre of Spurs defence. Had more joy when dropping wide.

PHILIPPE COUTINHO – 6.5

Hit the post at the start of the second half. Enjoyed drifting in from the left.

MANAGER: ERNESTO VALVERDE 6

Good call to play Dembele despite his disciplinary problems. Perhaps one rotation too far with Messi because Munir struggled.

TOTTENHAM (4-2-3-1)

HUGO LLORIS 6.5

Came off his line well to stop one Munir chance. Could do nothing to stop goal.

KYLE WALKER-PETERS 6

Nightmare start when brushed aside by Dembele. Didn’t go to pieces.

TOBY ALDERWEIRELD 7

Was handed a free-pass by Luis Suarez’s absence. Never looked troubled.

JAN VERTONGHEN 7

Dominated Munir who had fewer touches than any Barcelona player.

DANNY ROSE 6.5

Got beyond Nelson Semedo once in the first half and drew a foul from him that got him booked in the second.

MOUSSA SISSOKO 6.5

Ended up at right-back when Lamela came on for Walker-Peters but still managed to get forward.

HARRY WINKS 6

Also to blame for the goal went to ground quickly making Dembele’s shooting decision easier.

CHRISTIAN ERIKSEN 7.5

Had some of Tottenham’s best chances but couldn’t beat Cillessen. Good with the ball.

DELE ALLI 6

Couldn’t provide the spark Tottenham needed. But keep running at Barcelona’s defenders.

SON HEUNG-MIN 7

Will have nightmares about Cillessen. Twice denied. His first half chance could have changed the game.

HARRY KANE 7

Frustrated but preserved and provided the assist for the goal.

MANAGER: MAURICIO POCHETTINO 6.5

Didn’t risk too much too early then went for it at the end with the full artillery on the pitch.
