Former First Son Barron Trump made a rare public appearance on Wednesday as he was seen attending a funeral service for Ivana Trump along with the rest of his family.
The 16-year-old was first pictured slipping into the memorial service at St. Vincent Ferrer Church on the Upper East Side with his father, former President Donald Trump, and mother, Melania Trump, who waved to supporters in the streets as the yelled their support.
He was later pictured standing by his father’s side after the funeral service concluded.
Barron had his hair nicely coiffed just like his father used to wear, as he donned a dark blue suit with a white button down and slim blue tie.
The family had flown into New York for the funeral earlier this week after the former president announced Ivana’s death with a heartfelt statement on behalf of the family.
Barron is not biologically related to the late Czech model – his father was married to Ivana from April 1977 to 1992 before he married Marla Maples and later Barron’s mother Melania. Barron was not born until 2006, one year after his parents were married and 14 years after his father and Ivana split.
But Ivana is the mother of Barron’s half-siblings, Donald Jr, Ivanka and Eric Trump.
She was found dead in her Upper East Side townhouse last week, after apparently suffering from a fall.
In a touching tribute to his ex-wife Monday night, the former president told long-term friend Cindy Adams, a columnist for The New York Post: ‘She was outstanding. Beautiful inside and out. We began all of it, our lives together, with such a great relationship.’

Ivana, 73, was found dead last Thursday in her Upper East Side townhouse.
She had earlier dined with Paola Alavian, who owns Italian eatery Altesi’s located just a short walk from Ivana’s townhouse in the neighborhood.
He said she seemed in good spirits but ‘looked maybe a little bit tired’ and ordered a ‘very, very small amount of food’ before collecting the check and heading home.
A medical examiner later ruled her death an accident, saying she died from blunt force injuries as a result of a fall.
Ivana had last been pictured on June 22, walking with the help of an assistant.

Her funeral service on Wednesday was billed a ‘Celebration of Life’ to honor Ivana, a Czechoslovakian skier turned model who moved to America at the dawn of the 70s and became one of New York’s most iconic first wives.
In preparation for the funeral, NYPD barricades wreathed around the block between Lexington Avenue and East 65th and 66thwhile trucks from Greenscape Designs unloaded by the side entrance.

Officers and secret service agents consulted with each other and paced the sidewalk as members of the church choir began to arrive shortly after 11am.
Soon, mourners who had received an invitation to the funeral mass, featuring an image of Ivana in her heyday on the slopes, were let into the building.

Donald Trump Jr, Eric and Ivanka all spoke in front of 100 mourners, with daughter Ivanka saying: ‘Growing up, my mother didn’t tell me a woman could do anything she wanted to — she showed me.
‘She was a trailblazer by men and women alike. My mother once told me there was nothing she couldn’t do in heels. She taught us how to spear fish and then cook what we caught. My mom expanded our minds,’ she said.
Eric added: ‘She had brains; she had beauty. She was the embodiment of the American dream … She was a force of nature, could beat any man down the slopes, any woman on the runway.
‘She ruled the three of us [kids] with an iron fist but also a heart of gold.’
After the service, the family is expected to travel to New Jersey afterwards for a private reception at Trump National Golf Club Bedminster.
Barron was last pictured one year ago towering over his mother as the two left Trump Tower, where they had been staying while visiting New York. He was 6-foot-7 inches tall at the time.

The former president is reportedly either 6-foot-3-inches or 6-foot-2-inches, according to the International Business Times, while Melania, a former model, stands at 5-feet-11-inches.
The Trumps were largely based in Manhattan before Donald was elected president in 2016.
The couple, however, decided to relocate to the Trump resort in Mar-a-Lago after leaving the White House in January and have maintained a relatively low profile since.
