Barry final season trailer shows Bill Hader’s title character starting to lose his mind in prison

With just weeks until the final season of HBO’s Barry debuts, the pay cable network has released a new trailer that offers plenty of new details.

The Season 3 finale showed the law finally catching up to the title character, played by Bill Hader – who has been making headlines for his romances with Ali Wong and Rachel Bilson.

The words of his former acting coach Gene Cousineau (Henry Winkler) – ‘Barry, you’re irredeemable’ – seem to haunt him as he does his time in prison.

Gene teamed up with Jim Moss (Robert Wisdom) – the father of his girlfriend Janice Moss (Paula Newsome) who Barry had killed – to bring the assassin to justice.

‘I am a good person. That is who I am,’ Barry continues, as he’s seen alone in the prison yard screaming at unseen things.

Gene Cousineau is heard saying, ‘Barry, you’re irredeemable,’ as Barry looks in a mirror and starts slapping himself and pointing at his temple.

Sally Reed (Sarah Goldberg) is heard telling someone, ‘The guy I was dating in L.A. killed my acting teacher’s girlfriend,’ as we see Gene waking up in his chair.
