Barstool’s Dave Portnoy has given his verdict on Donald Trump’s performance against Kamala Harris in a ‘tag team’ Presidential debate on social media.
Trump debated Harris for the first time on Tuesday night due to President Joe Biden withdrawing his bid for re-election in July.
Portnoy had previously said ‘bad a**’ Trump would ‘coast’ to victory in November’s election after he was shot during a rally in Pennsylvania.
After Tuesday’s debate, it appears that claim may have changed.
‘I don’t think this is going well for Trump so far at all,’ Portnoy said. ‘Probably doesn’t help that it’s a tag team match, but yeah not great.’

Conservative commentators and Portnoy alike have blamed ABC’s moderators for their live fact-checking of Trump, leading some of believe it is an unfair debate.
Portnoy revealed he was on a flight when Trump was shot in July took place but, when he landed, insisted Trump would now coast to victory over rival Joe Biden.
The Barstool Sports chief posted on X: ‘I just landed and missed an (assassination) (sic) attempt. Holy s***. What a bad a** reaction from Trump. The election is over. He’s the next president. The Dems should give up. They can’t beat him now.
‘Also can we quit with the hate on both sides. This country is ripping apart. Let the voters decide. Just cause you vote on 1 side or the other doesn’t make you satan.’
Portnoy also posted a picture of Trump on his feet with his fist in the air just moments after the shooting. He wrote: ‘The election is over.’
He also criticized Biden over the time it took for the president to comment on the situation.
Portnoy continued: ‘How has the President of the United States not said a word in over an hour when a former president and current republican nominee just survived an assassination attempt? WHERE IS @JoeBiden’.
