Baseball fans tell Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce to ‘stick to football’ in furious response to MLB post

Baseball fans were anything but welcoming towards Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift after the power couple graced Yankee Stadium for Game 1 of the ALCS between the Yankees and Guardians.

Swift has become a regular staple at Chiefs games as she supports her boyfriend. While some have been thrilled by her presence, other fans have grown exhausted over the screen time she gets during broadcasts.

After the MLB Twitter account featured a video of the pair, fans of America’s favorite pastime curb-stomped the idea with their comments.

‘They’re already on tv enough in football, we don’t need them here too,’ one fan wrote.

‘Trying to [boost] those ratings I see,’ a second wrote.

MLB fans insisted that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce should ‘stick to football’ during the ALCS

‘Is MLB this desperate for ratings? I guess so,’ a third chimed in. ‘Lame, I’ll change the channel. I was watching the ALCS game until now.’

‘I was wondering why everyone was booing,’ a fourth added.

More fans showered the comment section with apathy toward their presence with ‘who cares’ and ‘shut up’ echoing across responses.

Meanwhile, other fans called fouls on Swift and Kelce being disloyal for showing up to a Yankee game. One fan pointed out how Kelce, an Ohio native, was not making his Guardians fandom known in enemy territory.

‘He’s supposed to be a Guardians fan,’ the fan wrote. ‘What a f***ing sell out.’

‘Kelce at a Yankees playoff game when Yankees eliminated Kansas City Royals,’ another wrote.

Another called foul on Swift, writing: ‘Isn’t she a Phillies fan? Wtf she doing.’
