Basketball shot lands on small boy’s face 

A man attempting a ‘Hail Mary’ half-court basketball shot to beat out the clock may have accidentally caused years of psychological trauma to young child.  

Footage uploaded to YouTube on Thursday capturing an amateur basketball game shows a man in a green jersey lob a basketball from the other side of the court. 

As the ball glides through the air, the film suddenly slows down as viewers wait to see the scene unfold.

As the camera scans the length of the floor, a young boy emerges into the shot. 

The ball then completely misses the hoop and lands, hard, right on the boys head. 

Before the footage cuts off, viewers can see a number of people laughing. Hopefully this young man has a sense of humor, because he’ll need it. 

The footage, which was uploaded to YouTube, captures the ball gliding the length of the court
