Bayern Munich are reportedly interested in a shock move for Fulham defender Kenny Tete.
According to The Sun, Bayern are considering Tete as a potential replacement for the outgoing Benjamin Pavard.
Pavard is expected to leave Bayern for Inter Milan, with Dutch defender Tete viewed by Thomas Tuchel and the coaching team as a candidate to replace him.
Tete, who has started both of Fulham’s league games so far this season, has one year remaining on his contract at Craven Cottage.
Nonetheless, losing Tete at this stage of the transfer window would represent a blow for Fulham boss Marco Silva as there wouldn’t be much time to bring in a replacement.

Tete started his career at Ajax and then moved to Lyon before signing for Fulham in 2020. In total he has made 82 appearances for Fulham so far.
Fulham have already lost Aleksandar Mitrovic, with the striker having signed for Saudi Arabian side Al-Hilal in a club-record sale for the London club.
As for Pavard he reportedly turned down the chance to join Manchester United and it is claimed that he is now close to joining Inter Milan.
The defender was absent from Bayern training on Wednesday due to illness.

An alternative for Bayern could be West Ham’s Thilo Kehrer.
Pavard’s imminent departure has created a vacancy for a player who can play at centre back and right back like the French 2018 World Cup winner.
Germany international Kehrer ticks both boxes and is also well known to Bayern manager Tuchel.
The pair worked together for two-and-a-half years at Paris Saint-Germain with Tuchel signing Kehrer from Schalke for around £30m in August 2018 during his first transfer window.
