The likes of Manchester City and Real Madrid have shone so far in this season’s competition, securing their places in the quarter-finals.
Thiago and Bayern Munich are set to join them next week, having beaten Besiktas 5-0 in the first leg of their last-16 clash, and the Spaniard insists his side do not fear anyone in the next round.

‘Barcelona, Real Madrid, Man City… there are many teams you’d want to play against,’ the 26-year-old said.
‘But no team has impressed me. They are football players, like us. We just have to compete and see who is better at that moment.’
In-form City have been listed as favourites to go all the way this year but Thiago, who played under Pep Guardiola in Germany, says it is only Lionel Messi that has amazed him in the tournament.
