Beau Lamarre-Condon formally removed from NSW Police after allegedly murdering Sydney couple

Alleged double murderer Beau Lamarre-Condon has officially been removed from the NSW Police Force.

Lamarre-Condon stands accused of murdering Sydney couple Luke Davies and Jesse Baird.

The couple’s bodies were found inside surfboard bags on February 27 at a rural property in Bungonia near Goulburn, about 200km southwest of Sydney.

Lamarre-Condon is accused of shooting the pair with his service weapon while off-duty on February 19.

NSW Police confirmed Lamarre-Condon had been removed from the force on Friday.

‘Under section 181D of the Police Act 1990, the Commissioner has the ability to remove officers if she has lost confidence in their suitability to continue as a police officer,’ police said.

Detectives allege Lamarre-Condon’s killing of Mr Baird with his police-issued gun was a premeditated attack after a months-long campaign of ‘predatory behaviour’ towards the man he had a brief ‘friends with benefits’ relationship with.

According to police, Mr Davies, a Qantas flight attendant, was allegedly murdered because he happened to be in the Paddington property at the time of his partner’s killing.

Initially Lamarre-Condon initially would not tell police where their bodies were located and there was an extensive search for the couple.

He then spoke with a lawyer on February 27, more than a week after the alleged murders.

Lamarre-Condon was charged with two counts of murder and is currently in Silverwater Correctional Complex, in Sydney’s west.

He will face court in Sydney’s Downing Centre on April 23.

This is a breaking story. More to come.
