Beauty YouTubers show off their amazing looks using makeup from Kmart

When it comes to makeup, countless women spend thousands of dollars on primers, concealers, powders and highlighters – in order to make themselves look younger than their regular selves.

But a handful of Australian beauty YouTubers are showing how you can create a designer-looking face for a fraction of the price, using products from Kmart.

Here, FEMAIL takes a look at the likes of YouTubers Brittney Lee Saunders’, Crystal Conte’s and Amy Mulligan’s Kmart faces.

At $70, $72.50 and $76 respectively, they are proof that it is possible to love beauty and stick to a budget.

‘I spent just over $100, but I got a full face and much more,’ Brittney explained in a YouTube video – adding that she used around $70 of the products on her face.

The Instagram star praised Kmart’s own brand false lashes, lipstick, foundation and brow pencil which she said she ‘couldn’t fault’.

‘For a cheap pencil, this is amazing – it went on really easily and the medium shade is perfect for my brows,’ she said.

‘I’ll definitely continue to use it!’.

Brittney also said that the lip products were what impressed her most, while the highlighter was ‘definitely a fail’.

‘There were a couple of products that were a miss for me, but considering the cost I am pretty happy with the look,’ she said.

‘[But] you wouldn’t look at me and guess that I’m wearing all Kmart cosmetics.’

It isn’t only Brittney who has tried out Kmart’s OXX Studio and 5th Avenue beauty ranges.

Beginning with the primer, Crystal later used the OXX brow pencil, concealer, pressed powder, eyeshadow, foundation and more on her face.

‘This actually feels really nice… It’s a silicon-based one,’ she said of the primer.

On the flip side, she wasn’t so impressed with the foundation, which she found to be a shade or two too dark for an ivory label.

‘I don’t know about this. This is definitely not ivory. It definitely oxidises,’ she said. ‘But the coverage isn’t bad. I’m actually quite impressed with it.’

Crystal also wasn’t too big of a fan on the eyeshadow palette, which retails for $5, because she thought there weren’t enough shades.

‘This liquid illuminator is amazing. I can’t wait to keep using this and try it in different ways,’ Amy said on her YouTube clip.

‘The lip glosses are also like WHAT. I mean the pigmentation [is amazing]… I don’t think anything looks horrible. The only thing I probably wouldn’t buy again is the eyeshadow quads.

‘But that being said, in a different shade, it might be a bit better.’
