Bec Judd tries snails for the first time during luxury trip to Paris and reveals what they really taste like – after slamming Melbourne as ‘woke, broke and violent’

Bec Judd is on a luxurious vacation in Paris and she has tried one of the local dishes – snails.

In a video shared to Instagram on Monday, the WAG ate a plate of snails, a delicacy in France, and shared her opinions.

Tentatively trying the dish, Bec considered her thoughts before comparing the slippery suckers to shellfish.

‘It tastes like a mussel. Like, exactly the same,’ she said, appearing to enjoy the meal.

In the footage, Bec looked glamorous in an emerald green ensemble as she dined at a bustling Parisian eatery.

It comes after Bec slammed Melbourne as ‘woke, broke and violent’ after residents were encouraged to put Apple AirTags in their cars amid a crimewave in the city.

The footy WAG, who lives in a $7.3million mansion in Brighton, was drawn to comment on an interview between 3AW radio’s Jacqui Felgate and Sandringham Liberal MP, Brad Rowswell.

During the talk, Mr Rowswell was asked about a rise in violent crime in Melbourne’s suburbs.

The MP was asked about a suggestion at a community safety forum in Beaumaris last Thursday that residents consider placing AirTag trackers inside their cars in case they are stolen – something Judd took issue with.

‘Melbourne this is sad. Woke, broke and violent. I can’t believe we are living like this,’ Judd wrote online.

Mr Rowswell said during the interview that police had said at the meeting that ‘you can replace a car but you can’t replace a life’.

He continued: ‘I get that but that’s a decision we’re having to make in Victoria at the moment, certainly in metropolitan Melbourne. It’s a pretty crappy decision to make.

‘Their advice was leave your keys on the kitchen bench and get an AirTag and pop it in the boot of your car because some of these crooks know how to disable the tracking system on some of the modern cars.’

Victoria Police clarified that it was not instructing people to place AirTags in their cars, but that the issue had been brought up at the meeting.

Judd has been outspoken on crime in Melbourne – particularly in her well-heeled Bayside suburb – and her comments came after a fresh outbreak of violence in Melbourne this weekend.
