Beetlejuice steals show in Hot Ones parody with Michael Keaton for upcoming sequel

Beetlejuice stole the show while being interviewed by Michael Keaton in a Hot Ones parody posted on Monday by Warner Bros. Pictures on YouTube.

The promotional video for the upcoming sequel Beetlejuice Beetlejuice opened with Betelgeuse in his striped suit and tie chugging a bottle of hot sauce and burping.

A logo for ‘Not Ones’ was shown along with the sound of a rooster crowing as Michael, 72, said hello and welcomed Betelgeuse to the interview show.

‘How long is this gonna take? I have to get to the spa,’ Betelgeuse said.

Betelgeuse poured hot sauce on his ribs as Michael asked him who were some of his influences.

‘Well, Napoleon was a pal. Bieber, of course, for obvious reasons,’ Betelgeuse replied referencing the French emperor and Canadian pop star Justin.

‘Caligula was a wild man, gotta say that,’ Betelgeuse added while casually eating and tossing his leftovers.

Michael tried to point out some hot sauce on his guest’s face, but soon gave up.

The interview moved on to The Juice Is Loose brand of hot sauce as Michael upped the ante.

‘You’ve been haunting this metaphysical astral plane for over 600 years. You ever allowed yourself to contemplate the infinite nature of time?,’ Michael asked.

‘Nope!,’ Betelgeuse replied.

Michael asked Betelgeuse about the taste of the ribs.

‘This is eerily reminiscent of a guy I ate in Seattle,’ Betelgeuse said as steam blew out of his ears.

Betelgeuse then farted and told Michael that he had a question for him.

‘Who the hell are you?,’ Betelgeuse asked.

Michael instead of answering walked away as Betelgeuse drank more hot sauce straight from the bottle.

The video was a parody of the Hot Ones talk show on YouTube hosted by Sean Evans, 38, which features celebrity guests answering questions while eating increasingly spicy chicken wings.

Beetlejuice Beetlejuice is scheduled to be released in US theaters on September 6 by Warner Bros. Pictures.

The film’s story takes place 36 years after the events of Beetlejuice and follows the Deetz family as they return to Winter River after the unexpected death of Charles Deetz, who was played by Jeffrey Jones, 77, in the original.

Jenna plays Astrid Deetz, the teenage daughter of Winona’s character, Lydia Deetz.

Beetlejuice Beetlejuice will open the 81st Venice International Film Festival on Wednesday at Venice Lido in Italy.
