The ombre skirt, which rose from a light pink to a shining silver, fell perfectly on her svelte figure as it shimmered off her flawless complexion.

The 80s star, who found fame as a member of girl group The Go-Go’s, before enjoying solo success, paired the look with quirky fishnet-style heels with an added gold sequin detail.

As the star of the night she ensured she was shining on the carpet as she added even more sparkle with a dazzling pair of pink earrings.

She left her strawberry blonde tresses styled simply, falling naturally onto her shoulders.

The Heaven Is A Place on Earth star kept her makeup look subtle yet glowing, with a light red lip and a soft blue smokey eye.

The popstar co-hosted the benefit event with drag superstar Trixie Mattel to raise money for her animal care organisation, Animal People Alliance.

The event, which took place at The Abbey in West Hollywood, saw a host of stars perform, including Belinda.

Belinda cofounded Animal People Alliance in 2014 in Kolkata, India. It’s a combination of her love of India and her animal rights activism, she told The Advocate.

‘Our mission is to create employment for people who are at risk of falling below the poverty line or women who’ve been trafficked or other vulnerable people to become animal care buddies — or animal carers — and to treat the street animals in India,’ she said.

This comes as Belinda last year opened up about her former addiction to alcohol and cocaine, admitting she’s surprised to still be alive after her life spiralled out of control.

In an interview with Australia’s New Idea magazine she was candid about her long-term drug abuse.

‘I can’t believe I’m not dead,’ she confessed while reflecting on her wild days as the frontwoman of The Go-Go’s and beyond.

The star revealed she decided to get sober after having a vision of herself dead in a hotel room from a cocaine overdose.

‘I knew I couldn’t continue the life I was living,’ she admitted.

Belinda vowed to change her life and has been sober since 2005, which she credits to attending 12-step recovery meetings as part of her treatment.

She now doesn’t drink, smoke or take drugs.

Belinda also practises yoga and has a much healthier outlook on life which she summarises as ‘everything in moderation’.

Reflecting on her decision to get sober during an interview with Loose Women in 2017, Belinda said she got sick of the ‘secrets and lies’.

‘I’ve lost so many friends to drugs and the fact that I’m sitting here is really pretty amazing,’ she said at the time.

‘You have to hit some sort of rock bottom – mine was a spiritual one. I was telling so many secrets and lies all the time.’

She said she should look like Phantom of the Opera given her years of drug abuse.

Belinda also revealed she hid her addiction from her husband Morgan Mason when they tied the knot in 1986.

‘He knew in a vague sort of way,’ Belinda said. ‘Addiction is a disease of perception. You don’t realise it has an effect on people around you.’
