The Hadid sisters are already dominating the catwalks, but now there is yet another family member set to take the fashion world by storm.
You probably haven’t heard of Gigi and Bella’s Dutch-born cousin Joann van den Herik, 18, but she’s just signed as a plus-size model with London-based International Model Management and Maxime Models.
Joann is the daughter of Yolanda Hadid’s businessman brother Leo van den Herik, and seems particularly close to her cousin Bella, 21, who she’s posted several Instagram snaps with, but bears quite a striking resemblance to Gigi.
The star-in-waiting, who is a UK size 12, has gained a following of more than 31,000 thanks to her honest posts about her struggle with body confidence.
She recently shared an image which shows her posing in underwear, admitting she posted it because she felt ‘afraid’ to, but decided not to crop out any perceived flaws.
‘I wanted to show you guys that I’m imperfect too. I have fatrolls, I have stretch marks,’ she said. ‘It’s so easy to look in the mirror and feel disgusted by the things you don’t like, but I don’t want to do that anymore.
‘I don’t wanna hide my “ugly” side, I want to show it more often, because I’ve accepted it.’
Joann appears to share a warm relationship with her cousins and regularly celebrates their achievements, congratulating Gigi on her second Vogue cover on Instagram, saying: ‘You never cease to amaze me.’
She also celebrated the release of Yolanda Hadid’s biography and said she’s been inspired by her aunt’s fight against Lyme disease.
‘I’m so proud of you Auntie and I look up to you every day,’ she said.

She also attended the launch of Gigi’s collection with Tommy Hilfiger in The Netherlands and has posed wearing a shirt from the range on social media.
The rising star recently celebrated her two year anniversary with boyfriend Robin Nieboer and loves to share loved up selfies of them together, but promoting body positivity is her top priority.
Recently she wrote: If you have a fatrolls and you want to wear a croptop just DO IT! Today, I’m posting a photo in my underwear because I too have fat and I don’t care because I LOVE MY BODY!’
