Bella Ramsey wants to play The Joker in her next role.
The actress, 20, admitted that she is yet to play a villain and thinks that the infamous arch-nemesis of superhero Batman in the DC Universe would be the part for her.
Bella, who is non-binary and uses she/they pronouns, told LadBible: ‘I’ve not really played a villain yet. So I want to play a baddy. But like a really interesting, intricate, complex baddy.’
When asked about playing the DC villain, Bella admitted that stepping into the shoes of other actors like Joaquin Phoenix and Jared Leto would be something she would be up for.
She said: ‘Yeah. I was actually thinking that as well. The Joker, someone really interesting like that’
