Zac Affleck, 28, is the first cousin, once removed of Ben Affleck – who turned 52 Thursday amid months of marital woes with wife Jennifer Lopez, 55 – as well as Oscar-winner Casey Affleck, 49, according to People.

Zac’s wife Jen, a 25-year-old TikTok personality who has more than 1.1 million followers on the platform, told People in a statement that she’s ‘excited to talk about the things that have happened in [her] relationship’ with her spouse.

Jen added, ‘It feels like we got 10 years of marriage counseling in this one season of filming.’

Jen performs bits on TikTok about family and parenting, as well as alluding to the famous faces on her husband’s side of the family, as Zac’s dad is cousin to the actors.

Zac and Jen are parents to two children, daughter Nora, two, and son Luca, one.

Jen shared details of the births of both of her children via her social media platform.

She said in a November 6, 2021 Instagram post that she and Zac welcomed Nora on November 4th, 2021, writing, ‘Words can’t express how much we love this girl.’

In an August 1, 2023 post, she announced the arrival of their son on July 27, 2023, writing, ‘My baby Luca boy decided to join us a few weeks early. He is pure joy and has stole his Mamas heart.

‘Crazy story to come of how he got to us early but for now just so grateful to have this little piece of heaven added to our little family.’

The couple announced their engagement on New Year’s Day of 2019 in an Instagram post Jen put up from the Top of the Rock at New York City’s Rockefeller Plaza.

They would exchange vows later in the summer of 2019 in Newport Beach, California, according to a post on Jen’s Instagram.

Zac formerly played baseball as a shortstop for Olympus High School in his hometown of Holladay, Utah. He graduated in 2015, according to a profile on the sports scouting website Perfect Game, in which he was described as an ‘excellent student.’

She added, It’s been a long and challenging journey with two little ones, but we did it!’

A description of the show published by Hulu says it centers on the ‘scandalous world of a group of Mormon mom influencers’ which ‘implodes when they get caught in the midst of a swinging sex scandal that makes international headlines’

The statement continued, ‘Now, their sisterhood is shook to its core’ as ‘faith, friendship and reputations are all on the line.

‘Will #MomTok be able to survive and continue to give the rulebook a run for its money, or will this group fall from grace?’

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is slated to debut September 6 on Hulu.
