Ben Fordham shares adorable video of his young son Freddy playing game of leapfrog  

Ben Fordham was on dad duty on Sunday. 

The radio star, 45, shared a video to Instagram in which he was playing a game of leapfrog with his son, Freddy, six. 

In the clip, the 2GB host jumped high over his son’s head, looking completely delighted as he cleared the height. 

Little Freddy stood still, looking every so slightly concerned as his father flew over him. 

In the caption of his amusing video, the former Australian Ninja Warrior host admitted that the move was a little risky. 

He wrote jokingly: ‘Old Mate still trusts me!’ referring  to his trusting young son.

Ben shares son Freddy ands daughter Pearl, five, and Marigold, two, with his Channel Seven presenter wife Jodie Speers, who he wed in 2011. 

He had been following her early career in radio, and the pair soon began dating after they met at a friend’s 40th. 

Ben commended Jodie on her mothering and intelligence in an interview with The Australian Women’s Weekly.

‘I’m a very lucky man. Jodie is an incredible woman, a very talented journalist and the best mum in the world,’ Ben gushed.

‘She is her own woman. I come from a family of strong, independent women and I find that very attractive. I won the lottery the day I met her.’  

The radio star also praised Jodi on Mother’s Day, telling Insider magazine that she is the ‘captain’ of their ‘plane’.
