Benidorm’s Crissy Rock, 65, details her surprise romance with younger husband, 55, she met during filming

Benidorm star Crissy Rock has detailed her surprise romance with a younger man she met during filming, who went on to become her husband. 

Crissy, 65, best known for playing manageress Janey York in the ITV show, told The Mirror that she met her third husband Julian Buck, 55, at the Riviera Hotel in Benidorm while on a night out with the cast.

The mother-of-two revealed that she never ‘in a million years’ believed they would end up married because he is 10 years younger than her. 

She said: ‘We were all sitting outside. There were loads of people there and before we knew it was just me and him sitting there.

‘He was talking to me and he said, “Do you mind if I keep in touch as a friend?” Never ever, ever in a million years… I’ve never looked at him that day and thought I was going to marry him. It just happened, we are like mates. Sometimes I think, “Does he really love me?”‘

‘He’s ten years younger, I don’t even know what he sees in me, before adding that ‘he’s lovely really.’

Julian is a businessman but Crissy says he is very supportive and interested in her career and wishes he had his wife’s entertaining skills.

Crissy married Julian Buck in a movie themed ceremony at a Stockport cinema back in 2018. 

She looked elegant in a traditionally white gown, which boasted a structured boat neckline style.

Joining the guests at the couple’s wedding were Shameless star Tina Malone as well as Brookside and The Royale Family legend Ricky Tomlinson

Crissy later took to Facebook to write: ‘A big thank you to Ted all the staff of the Plaza Stockport.

‘Rosie and Ben, Benidorm, Tom, Lorraine Crosby, Betty, Mark, Mellia, Ricky Tomlinson, Billy Pearce.

‘Tina Malone and everyone who made our wedding day such a beautiful memorable day cant thank you enough xxx from Julian and myself.’

She said: ‘He’s ten years younger, I don’t even know what he sees in me, before adding that ‘he’s lovely really’, (pictured in character as Janey)
