The note detailed every item in the basket, and reasons as to why they would help the woman.

Items in the hamper include tissues ‘to dry your tears’, rubberbands ‘to help you bounce back’ and mascara ‘because he made yours run’.

It also included comfort food such as chocolate, ‘well duh!’ and Skittles ‘to remind you that after every storm comes a rainbow’.

The woman behind the hamper told  Yahoo7 that her friend’s break-up was completely out of the blue and left her friend shattered.

She said that when her friend received the package and the note, she was ‘overcome with emotion’.

‘There were tears of sadness and I guess knowing that I had her back,’ she said.
