Beauty aficionados know finding a product that glides on and makes your skin glow is always a win.

But with a glut of cosmetics on the market, it can be tricky to work out which one really lives up to the hype.

One beauty product that’s currently getting plenty of attention from shoppers is a CC cream by It Cosmetics.

And best of all, the colour correcting cream won’t set you back more than $60.

This CC cream by It Cosmetics costs $61 and has been hailed as the Goldilocks of formulas because its coverage isn’t too thick, sheer, matte or shiny

A CC cream is a colour correcting cream, one that’s a touch thicker than a BB cream, and addresses problems like redness or sallow skin.

The ‘Your Skin But Better’ makeup product has been hailed as the ‘Goldilocks’ of formulas because it’s composition is ‘just right’ – not too thick, sheer, matte or shiny.

The CC cream is such a hit beauty retailer Sephora, home to a whole raft of world renown brands, has the product listed as one of its top sellers.

To date, the Sephora website shows the CC cream has an impressive 322 reviews and 130,000 ‘loves’ (a feature similar to one used by Instagram).

‘This is an all-in-one foundation: treats my skin while protecting it from UV. A small amount a size of half red bean is all I need for my face and it is buildable for more coverage,’ one reviewer wrote.

While another added: ‘My fav [sic] foundation of all time. It’s a cc cream but it has the coverage of a foundation. Smells citrusy, matches my skin really well.’

Some reviewers noted the CC cream left them a little shiny and the coverage wasn’t as full as they expected.
