Beyoncé’s makeup artist Sir John transforms sisters with joint ambush makeovers

Two sisters proudly showed off their stunning new looks to their family after getting joint ambush makeovers on the Today show.

Stefanie DeSpirito, 50, and Clarise Langelotti, 60, from Westchester, New York, were given head-to-toe transformations complete with individual sessions with Beyoncé’s makeup artist Sir John, who was visiting the show on Thursday.

When Stefanie wrote into the Today show and nominated Clarise for an ambush makeover, she never imagined that she would end up getting one too.

Stefanie teared up while talking about her eldest sister, saying: ‘She’s the most giving person I know. She does everything for everyone.’

‘I was the one who had to lead the way,’ Clarise said of being the oldest sibling.

The mother of four was thrilled to be able to share this experience with Stefanie because her younger sister’s presence helped put her at ease.

‘I was very nervous to do it on my own, and I was like, “Oh my gosh, I want you to be able to do it with me,”‘ she said. ‘Thank God we got to do it together. I’m really happy about that.’

Stefanie, meanwhile, was ‘just excited for the day of pampering’ and meeting Today hosts Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager.

‘I love Hoda and Jenna,’ she said. ‘I watch them every day, and we were so excited when they were looking for participants for Ambush Makeover.’

The two siblings were joined by their sisters Maria and Lisa, sister-in-law Jennifer, and nieces Nicole and Susanna when they took turns showing off their new looks.

Clarise was the first to step on stage, and one of her sisters shrieked when she saw her transformation.

The mom was close to tears when she turned around and looked at herself in the mirror for the first time since her makeover.

‘With Clarise, we wanted to open up the eyes. We gave her a couple of individual lashes, but I wanted to give her some beach, bronzy cheeks just to give her a little, you know, South Beach glow,’ Sir John explained.

‘She already has beautiful skin so I didn’t use a lot of foundation.’

Meanwhile, celebrity hairstylist Louis Licari enhanced her heart-shaped face by giving her bold blonde highlights.

As for her outfit, Today lifestyle contributor Jill Martin dressed her in a faux suede jacket, dark skinny jeans, and snake-skin print booties.

Clarise joined her family when it was time for Stefanie to walk on stage. When Stefanie came out, it was the first time they had seen each other’s new looks.

‘I think you’re supposed to stay up there,’ Clarise joked when her sister walked over to give her a hug.

Sir John said that he also used minimal foundation on Stefanie, and he bronzed her cheeks, just like he did with her sister.

Louis gave her strong, yet natural-looking blonde highlights, while Jill dressed her in a funky leopard-print tunic, skinny jeans, and black booties. She topped off the look with a pair of red statement earrings.

The sisters loved their new looks, and so did their family.
