Beyonce’s mother Tina Knowles revealed that she lost her Malibu bungalow to the wildfires that have devastated Los Angeles.
Beginning on Tuesday, the area was struck by its worst windstorms in over a decade, fueling fires in Los Angeles and Ventura Counties that have destroyed thousands of structures and claimed at least five lives over the past three days.
About 130,000 people are under evacuation orders or warnings, as the authorities prepare to send out K-9 units trained to detect human remains.
One blaze in the Pacific Palisades area has consumed a number of celebrity homes, including residences owned by Paris Hilton, Jeff Bridges, Anthony Hopkins, John Goodman, James Woods and Miles Teller.
Now Tina has heartbrokenly revealed that her oceanfront property in Malibu was wrecked by the same fire – just days after she celebrated her 71st birthday there.
‘It was my favorite place, my sanctuary , my sacred Happy Place . Now it is gone !!’ she wrote on Instagram, before paying tribute to the five people who died.
