Beyonce’s uncle Butch has died at 77.
The 42-year-old megastar’s mom Tina Knowles took to Instagram on Sunday to reveal that her Air Force veteran older brother has passed away.
The 70-year-old matriarch shared a black and white military photo of her sibling with a lengthy caption with her 4.1million followers.
She wrote: ‘My Beautiful big brother Butch went to be with God this weekend. I will miss him so much ! He was a career Airforce man .’
It seemed like Butch was a man of many interest as Tina revealed that he enjoyed riding motorcycles in addition to being a black belt in Karate.

The grandmother-of-four described her big brother as a great storyteller as she gave recognition to the immediate family that he has left behind.
Tina concluded: ‘He had an incredible wife Jeanette and devoted daughter Dana two beautiful grandchildren Yvette and Roland. He was greatly loved.
