The Big Brother house at Dreamworld is ON FIRE as crews desperately try to bring the blaze under control

  • Plumes of black smoke were seen rising from the building on Saturday afternoon
  • Queensland Fire and Emergency said that the fire was reported at 2.10pm
  • No one has been injured in the blaze, and five fire trucks remain on the scene 

The Big Brother House on the Gold Coast in Queensland is currently on fire.

Huge plumes of black smoke were seen rising from the building on Saturday afternoon. 

Queensland Fire and Emergency told Daily Mail Australia that the fire was reported at 2.10pm. 

No one has been injured in the blaze, and four fire and rescue trucks as well as a rural fire crew are on the scene at Foxwell Road in Coomera. 

The house, which sits on land at Dreamworld theme park, was home to hundreds of contestants over 11 seasons of the popular reality television series which began in 2001. 

The abandoned house was recently brought back into the spotlight when a series of Youtubers visited the site, posting videos online of the dilapidated, graffiti-ridden home.

Queensland Fire and Emergency told Daily Mail Australia that the fire was reported at 2.10pm on Saturday.
