Gold Logie nominee Andy Lee copped a very unpleasant surprise when he went for a drive in his flash Audi in Melbourne on Sunday.
The 42-year-old comedian failed to see the funny side after finding a day-old traffic fine of $96 on the windscreen of his car in a popular restaurant precinct in Richmond, after seemingly leaving the vehicle there overnight.
Andy looked somewhat puzzled as he double-checked the parking signs on the street after making the grim discovery.
Dressed for the chilly and wet winter day in a puffer jacket, jeans and grey beanie, the podcaster and TV host was seen grabbing the ticket to check the details of the fine.
The penalty notice was for a $96 parking infringement and was issued by Yarra City Council under Road Safety Rules 2017 on June 29.
‘Parked failed to pay fee and obey instructions on sign/meter/ticket, etc,’ the notice read.
At one point, Andy was seen discussing the situation with an unidentified person at the wheel of the car.
It comes after Andy and his fiancée Rebecca Harding celebrated their recent engagement by kicking off their ambitious $5 million renovation project last month.
