Bikini-clad Lydia Bright has trouble sunbathing in peace when her daughter Loretta drips ice cream all over her

Lydia Bright showed how there is never a dull moment in motherhood, when she shared a hilarious video of her daughter Loretta. 

Enjoying her holiday at an unknown location, the former TOWIE star, 32, attempted to soak up the sun as she relaxed on her deckchair, however her sunbathing session didn’t quite go as planned. 

Taking to Instagram on Monday to share the funny clip, Lydia was trying to get stuck into her book, only to be interrupted by Loretta, three. 

Her daughter sat on her mother as she enjoyed an ice cream which quickly began to drip onto the star’s toned stomach. 

The clip went onto show Loretta covering her mother’s legs with her toys and filling her belly button with what appeared to be shells.

 The star captioned the post: ‘Trying to sunbathe with a toddler. Mums who can relate’. 

Lydia was flooded with comments as fellow mums related to the star’s experience, commenting ‘Oh yes’. 

Showcasing her incredible figure, the star showed off her bronzed tan as she wowed in a black Moschino two-piece with buckle detailing. 

Sharing a picture of Loretta playing in the sand over on her Instagram stories Lydia gushed about how proud she has been of her little one on this holiday. 

She wrote: ‘My Little Girl. She has made me so proud on this trip. Even with the language barrier she has made friends wherever she finds children. 

‘She is so confident, sociable and a real extrovert. 

‘However, on the rare days when there are not any children around…Days are like this,’ as she inserted a link to the sunbathing/ice cream smearing video. 

The holiday comes after Lydia appeared on Giovanna Fletcher’s podcast Happy Mum, Happy Baby.

Discussing all things motherhood with the presenter, she revealed she fell pregnant just three days after coming off contraception despite her fears she would struggle with her fertility.

The former TOWIE star confessed, ‘it happened so quickly, like three days.’

‘I thought once you’ve been on contraception for a very long time, I was on it for years, that maybe it will take some time for that to come out of your system. I kind of assumed that I wouldn’t have a period for a long time and I wouldn’t be able to get pregnant.’

Lydia also revealed she has polycystic ovaries, so also assumed that would prevent her from falling pregnant.
