A western Sydney bikini model who once dated Sam Burgess is facing bankruptcy after her restaurant chain collapsed amid revelations one store was infested with rats.
Gabriela Cevallos will face court in Melbourne on December 5 over an outstanding $11,163 bill from her salad business Mero Mero.
The 35-year-old received a creditor’s petition from meat supplier CWB Australia for a meat order for her Melbourne store.
Ms Cevallos’ business went bust in 2017, following a difficult period for the company, including her Sydney store at Galleries Victoria becoming infested with rats.

Ms Cevallos (pictured) has offered to pay back the debit in installments and said she had no knowledge of the debt until recently
She told the Courier Mail that rats invaded after light rail construction began near her store, bringing up to 30 rodents every day.
‘Rats would chew the electrical cables and the fridge would stop working,’ Ms Cevallos said.
The former aspiring actor said she had no knowledge of the debt until recently, and that the company, which once boasted three stores, had no money.
‘I’m being supported by my boyfriend, there is no money to give them,’ Ms Cevallos said.
‘The company has zero assets, I don’t even have a car in my name.’
Ms Cevallos paid out the entitlements of her 45 staff after her business fell, and has offered to pay back the CWB debt in installments.
She has launched a new entrepreneurial venture to get back on her feet called ‘The Hourglass Clinic’ which is a fat freezing business.
Ms Cevallos was romantically linked with NRL star Sam Burgess in 2013.
