Billie McKay WINS MasterChef Australia for the SECOND time after near-perfect score for ‘mind blowing’ take on Heston Blumenthal dessert
It was a nail-biting finish to MasterChef Australia Fans & Faves on Tuesday night.
The cooking competition’s finale saw fan faourites Billie McKay and Sarah Todd go up against one another.
It was who emerged victorious, winning the hefty $250,000 prize after a ‘mind blowing’ final dish.
The pair were tasked with impressing Heston Blumenthal, each recreating an elaborate dessert from the five-star chef.
The judges were most impressed with Billie, whose dish they called ‘better than good’ and ‘unbelievable’.
Sarah did not go home empty handed, winning $30,000 for her second place.
