Elon Musk has launched his own hats, flamethrowers and, perhaps, even an ‘intergalactic media empire,’ from his Twitter account.
So why not a ‘cyborg dragon’?
That’s the billionaire tech mogul’s latest endeavor, according to a tweet published on Wednesday.
Billionaire mogul Elon Musk (pictured) casually tweeted on Wednesday that he’s building a ‘cyborg dragon’. It’s unclear what the project entails but it’s whipped Twitter users into a frenzy
‘Oh [by the way] I’m building a cyborg dragon,’ the SpaceX chief casually tweeted on Wednesday afternoon.
It’s unclear what exactly Musk has in store, but plenty of users replied with images of dragons from Game of Thrones and Power Rangers in an attempt to pin down his plans.
Others quipped that Musk should focus on producing more Model 3s, as many consumers are still waiting to get ahold of one after reserving a sedan several months ago.

‘Pretty irresponsible use of time, considering the financial trouble Tesla seems to be in…,’ tweeted one user.
‘Are people not waiting for their Model 3s to be delivered?’
That’s after Musk hinted at the cyborg dragon hours earlier in a tweet to rapper Post Malone and musician Grimes.
Musk even joked with a user that cyborg dragons are an ‘underserved market’.
The Tesla boss has been known to turn many seemingly fictional ideas into reality in the past.

Just last week, Musk said SpaceX will try to use a ‘giant party balloon’ and a bouncy house to retrieve the upper stage of a Falcon 9 rocket.
The upper stage is a crucial component of the rocket that carries a payload into orbit.
In a separate tweetstorm earlier this year, Musk said ‘Thud!’ is the name of his new ‘intergalactic media empire’.
The Daily Beast also reported that Musk had poached several writers and editors from satirical news publication The Onion to work on a secret project he’s funding.
‘It’s pretty obvious that comedy is the next frontier after electric vehicles, space exploration, and brain-computer interfaces,’ Musk said.
In January, the tech mogul tweeted that he would create the ‘safest flamethrower ever’ after selling 50,000 Boring Company hats.

Musk long claimed he’d send his own cherry red Tesla Roadster to Mars on board the Falcon Heavy. Many believed the claim to be a joke, until his car was the payload aboard the rocket

Musk has been known to tweet things out at random that eventually turn into real ventures, like the Boring Company flamethrower. The Boring Company has sold 20,000 flamethrowers and raised $10 million in the process
Most people seemed to assume that he was joking.
‘I know it’s a little off-brand, but kids love it,’ Musk continued in a tweet.
Within hours of the flamethrower becoming available, orders flooded in by the thousands.
In total, Musk’s tunneling company has sold 20,000 flamethrowers and raised $10 million in the process.
Additionally, Musk long claimed he’d send his own cherry red Tesla Roadster to Mars on board the Falcon Heavy.
Again, many believed the claim to be a joke, until he launched the world’s most powerful rocket into orbit last month.
To the surprise of many, Musk’s Roadster was the Falcon Heavy’s payload, along with a dummy passenger named Starman.
