Billy Bush has some strong words of praise for his eldest child who has been working hard on her sobriety.
The former Access Hollywood and Today show anchor helped daughter Josie. 19, celebrate being three years sober.
‘Happy 3rd birthday to the most courageous, gutsy, kid I know,’ Billy wrote on his Instagram alongside a photo of himself and his family enjoying dinner out.

Josie herself also celebrated with a social media post.
She shared a selfie on Friday to her Instagram and wrote: ‘3 years sober. Grateful for everything sobriety has given me.’

Billy and his wife Sydney also have two other daughters – Mary, 17, and Lillie, 13.
Sydney also praised her eldest daughter as ‘inspirational’ as she shared a snap of herself with two of her three girls.
She wrote on Instagram: ‘3 years ago you embarked on a journey. I can not begin to know the obstacles you have overcome…. but it has been pure joy watching you stay the course and be the best you,.
‘I am so proud. I love you,’ she added.
Billy, 46, has previously spoken about how he initially blamed himself for Josie’s struggles.
Part of me was beating myself up, like, ‘How did I miss this?’’ he told People.
‘Still, I cannot give credit to myself. It’s all Josie,’ he said. ‘It’s a hero’s journey. I watch her and I’m blown away by the strength of character she has.’
