Billy Joe Saunders has withdrawn from his upcoming fight against Martin Murray after sustaining an injury, promoter Frank Warren confirmed on Sunday.
The undefeated British southpaw was due to make the fourth defence of his WBO middleweight title against compatriot Murray at London’s O2 Arena on Saturday June 23, but the fight will no longer take place.
Warren apologised for any inconvenience caused and said a full statement on the show would be made on Monday.
