Bindi Irwin celebrates her father Steve’s legacy on World Crocodile Day as she tells fans to never buy products made from the reptiles

Bindi Irwin celebrated her late father’s legacy on World Crocodile Day on Sunday. 

The Wildlife Warrior, 24, shared a photo of her beloved father Steve as he took a photo of an open-mouthed crocodile.

Steve looked fearless in the throwback photo as he squatted perilously close to the animal on the bank of a river. 

‘From our family to yours, wishing you a very happy #WorldCrocodileDay,’ she began.  

‘Celebrating Dad’s favourites, our beautiful modern-day dinosaurs.’

Bindi went on to remind fans never to buy crocodile products.   

‘Skins, meat, fashion accessories – these extraordinary apex animals deserve better,’ the she wrote. 

Fans cooed over Bindi and Steve’s legacy.

Bindi was just eight years old at the time of Steve’s death. Son Robert was even younger, just three years old.

Steve’s family has carried on his mission to promote and protect wildlife through Australia Zoo, with the family global stars.
